Exposure to Extreme Heat can Trigger a Migraine

Migraine sufferers knew all too well that a migraine attack can spoil a beautiful day.

For example, too much exposure under the heat of the sun can trigger a migraine. This is true for some who are very sensitive to extreme heat or too much exposure to direct sunlight.

Too much exposure to the extreme heat of the sun with very glaring sunlight is known to be a trigger of migraine. An individual who is attacked with migraine because of this will experience an excruciating pain on one side of the head sometimes followed by nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to sounds and lights. Some individuals will even succumb to a very dark and quiet room since seeing a little bit of light or hearing even a bit of sound will make the migraine worse.

To get away with this, avoid too much exposure under extreme heat of the sun. If you need to go out, wear UV protected sunglasses. A UV protected sunglass will provide your eyes the protection that it needs when you are out under the extreme heat of the sun. It is much better if you can invest in a polarized lenses or glasses as they help to reduce glare.
